MOWRAM Reviews Progress of Main Canal Restoration Project in Bati District, Takeo Province

APSARA Authority Completes Restoration of Two Ancient Canals in Don Kaew Commune Under Angkor Water Resilience Project
The APSARA National Authority reported the completion of restoration works on two ancient canals in Don Kaew Commune, Puok District, under the Angkor Water Resilience Project implemented in cooperation with New Zealand. The works included canal rehabilitation, four new water gates, one spillway, and repairs to 1,000 metres of embankment to support water management, flood drainage, cultural landscape conservation, and local agricultural use.

Interior Ministry Report Summarizes Weekly and Monthly Gambling Enforcement Cases as of 22 March 2026
According to an Interior Ministry report, National Police units recorded five gambling suppression cases and detained 20 people during the third week of March 2026, with cases reported in Phnom Penh, Kampong Speu, Preah Sihanouk, and Oddar Meanchey. The report also stated that 27 gambling cases and 67 related arrests were recorded in February, with some other individuals required to sign agreements to cease such activities.
