Our Investment Criteria
Projects seeking investment should meet the following basic requirements:
1. The Project Must Be Based in Cambodia
The business and its principal operations must be located within Cambodia. The founders may be Cambodian or foreign nationals, provided that the proposed business is legally established and operated in Cambodia.
2. Investment of Up to USD 100,000 per Project
Our investment in a single project will generally not exceed USD 100,000.
The final investment amount will depend on factors such as the business model, funding requirements, development stage, expected returns and risk profile of the project.
3. Experienced Founders
The principal founder or management team should have at least three years of relevant experience in the proposed industry.
We value practical experience, operational capability and a clear understanding of customers and the local market. We are particularly interested in founders who are prepared to participate actively in the long-term operation of the business.
4. Equity-Based Investment
Our investments are primarily structured as equity investments. This means that we invest capital in exchange for an ownership interest in the business and share both its risks and future growth.
The shareholding structure, governance arrangements, founder responsibilities and exit mechanisms will be discussed individually for each project.
5. Preference for Service-Sector Businesses
We are particularly interested in service-related projects with clear market demand and scalable business models, including:
- E-commerce and digital services
- Education and professional training
- Healthcare and related services
- Business and professional services
- Consumer services
- Technology-enabled service businesses
We remain open to opportunities in other industries where the founders have strong experience and the project demonstrates clear commercial potential in Cambodia.
