National Assembly Delegation Attends 13th Asian Parliamentary Assembly in Turkey
A Cambodian National Assembly delegation led by Tea Sokunth joined the opening of the 13th Asian Parliamentary Assembly in Antalya, Turkey, under the theme of promoting multilateralism in a changing global context. Ministry of Commerce Launches Market Studies and Single Digital Trade Platform
The Ministry of Commerce and the Australian Embassy in Cambodia launched two market information research documents and announced a Single Digital Platform to support trade and investment. The platform will include an FTA Portal, a self-certification system for certificates of origin, and an international rule-of-origin verification system to help businesses maximise benefits from Cambodia’s free trade agreements.

MPWT Discusses Northern Railway Passenger Transport Improvement with Nippon Koei
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport held a working meeting with Nippon Koei to review a presentation on improving passenger transport services along sections of the northern railway line covering Battambang, Serei Saophoan, and Poipet. The ministry also requested that the company consider a feasibility study for an urban tramway system in Phnom Penh as an alternative to previously studied automatic guideway transit options.

MPWT Launches Expansion of National Road 7 Section in Kampong Cham
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport inaugurated construction works to expand and upgrade a 45.48 km section of National Road 7 between Skun roundabout in Cheung Prey district and the Kizuna bridge roundabout in Kampong Cham city. The project will widen the road from two to four lanes, upgrade pavement quality, build new bridges, expand an existing bridge, and install traffic safety and vehicle control systems.
