On 13 March 2026, a delegation of Cambodia’s General Department of Identification, Ministry of Interior, led by Director General Lieutenant General Dr. Touch Net, held a discussion meeting in Singapore with representatives of the UNDP Global Center for Technology, Innovation and Sustainable Development.
According to the official statement, the meeting covered the UNDP Global Center’s work in cooperating with and supporting partner countries in four areas: digital transformation, the use of artificial intelligence, the development of digital public infrastructure, and next steps for cooperation with the General Department of Identification.
Participants also included the Head of Governance Programme of UNDP in Cambodia, the Deputy Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific of Vital Strategies, and leaders and technical officials from Cambodia’s General Department of Identification and the UNDP Global Center in Singapore.
