Ministry of National Defence Rejects Thai Media Claim and Reaffirms Cambodia-Thailand Border Peace Commitments
The Ministry of National Defence stated that Thai media claims alleging Cambodia was preparing for a third armed conflict were incorrect and baseless. The ministry said the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces remained committed to the December 27, 2025 joint statement of the 3rd Special GBC Meeting, the October 26, 2025 joint peace declaration, and other relevant Cambodia-Thailand agreements on maintaining peace, stability, and security along the border.
