MOWRAM Reviews 2025 Performance and Sets 2026 Direction for Water Management
The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology convened an annual meeting to summarize 2025 performance and outline implementation priorities for 2026 for MOWRAM, the Cambodia National Mekong Committee and the Tonle Sap Authority. MFAIC Acting Minister Receives Courtesy Call from Rwandan Ambassador

MPWT Reports 89.88% Completion of NR7 Expansion in Kampong Cham
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport reported that the project to expand and upgrade National Road 7 to four lanes between Skun and Kampong Cham city has reached 89.88% completion as of early March 2026. The 45.504-kilometre section is progressing faster than planned and is expected to be completed during 2026, with MPWT urging road users to exercise caution while works continue.

Ministry of Environment Meeting Supports EIA for 200MW Battery Storage Project in Pursat
The Ministry of Environment chaired an inter-ministerial meeting to review and comment on the full Environmental Impact Assessment report for a 200MW/400MWh battery energy storage station proposed in Krakor district, Pursat province by SCHNEITEC LEGACY Co., Ltd. The meeting expressed overall support for the clean energy project while emphasizing proper management of used batteries, electronic waste, and rainwater drainage within the project site in coordination with the ministry.

Accounting and Auditing Regulator Holds Workshop on Accounting Law at BBU Sihanoukville
The Accounting and Auditing Regulator, in cooperation with the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors and Build Bright University Preah Sihanouk Campus, organized a dissemination workshop on the Law on Accounting and Auditing and related provisions for lecturers and students. The event also covered national accounting standards, the accounting and auditing profession in Cambodia, and the Cambodian Certified Professional Accountant training program.
