Background
The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) conducts provincial outreach to explain registration procedures, benefit entitlements and new digital tools to employers and workplace representatives. Taem Tit, head of the NSSF Battambang branch, opened a workshop on 28 July 2026 that presented principles, regulations, social security benefits and the LACMS registration system to attendees.
More than 200 employers, companies, factories and representatives in Battambang attended the session to receive information on social security benefits and digital registration. The event received high-level endorsement from Meng Hong, government delegate and Director General of the NSSF within the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, and emphasised the modernisation of NSSF’s digital systems.
