General Department of Immigration Deports 776 Vietnamese Nationals for Online Scams
On 17 March 2026, the General Department of Immigration directed the continued deportation of 776 Vietnamese nationals linked to online scam activities in Malai district, Banteay Meanchey. Of these, 457 individuals were deported via the Bavet International Border Police Post in Svay Rieng and 319 via the Trapaing Sre International Border Police Post in Kratie.

Ministry of Tourism Highlights Launch of Cambodia–China Tourism Credit Card Service
The Minister of Tourism presided over the launch of a cross-border payment service and the Cambodia–China tourism credit card, developed by Bank of China Phnom Penh branch. The initiative enables tourists, particularly from China and other countries, to make cross-border payments in Cambodia using QR code systems under the Cambodia–China “Diamond” cooperation framework.
