Ministry of Agriculture Reviews ASEAN Agriculture and Forestry Cooperation Work

Banteay Meanchey Provincial Police Denounce Fake Facebook Account Using Commissioner’s Image
The Banteay Meanchey Provincial Police Commissariat issued a public notice about a fake Facebook account using the name “Pho Sophorn” and the image of Provincial Police Commissioner Sith Luos as a logo. The commissariat disclaimed responsibility for any misinformation or illegal activity from the fake account, clarified the details of the commissioner’s official page, and warned the account creator to delete the images or face legal action.

Ministry of Commerce Participates in Special ASEAN–Canada Free Trade Agreement Negotiation Meeting
A Cambodian delegation led by Secretary of State Roth Saravuth of the Ministry of Commerce joined the Special Meeting of the ASEAN–Canada Free Trade Agreement Trade Negotiating Committee in Bandung, Indonesia, on 23 February 2023. Cambodia called for ASEAN to maintain a common position in a non-paper to Canada covering environment, labour, and inclusive trade, and proposed specialized working groups on these themes.

MPWT Reviews Progress of Takhmao Wastewater Treatment System Project
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport held a video conference with technical consulting firms DOHWA Engineering and Seoyoung Engineering to review progress of the Takhmao city wastewater treatment system project financed by the Export-Import Bank of Korea. The meeting agreed on timelines for detailed technical design reports, revisions based on prior technical discussions, and scheduling of the next evaluation committee meeting in early March 2023.
