The National Police of Cambodia reported that a mixed enforcement team raided an alleged online gambling location in Sangke district, Battambang province, on 6 May 2026 at 10:20 a.m. The reported location was a rented house in Group 2, Anlong Vil village, Anlong Vil commune, Sangke district.
According to the police report, the operation was coordinated with Net Sopharin, Deputy Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Battambang Provincial Court of First Instance. The enforcement team included forces from the Battambang Provincial Police Commissariat and the unified command structure of the Sangke District Administration.
Police reported that 10 people, including four women, were detained during the operation. The report also stated that one representative of the location owner was among those taken for questioning.
Institutional Role
The Battambang Provincial Police Commissariat carried out the operation under the leadership of Provincial Police Commissioner Danh Eng Bunchan, according to the official police account. Colonel Chhoeung Kimsong, Deputy Commissioner in charge of criminal police work, was identified as part of the command structure for the operation.

Police said they seized 10 laptop computers and 25 desktop computers, including 19 computers that had already been assembled or installed. The seizure of computer equipment indicates that digital devices were treated as evidence in the alleged online gambling operation.
After questioning and investigation, the authorities prepared the case file for submission to the Battambang Provincial Court of First Instance. The police report stated that the matter would continue under legal procedure.
