The National Police of Cambodia published nationwide results from anti-drug operations conducted on 24 January 2026. According to the report, authorities handled 18 drug-related cases and arrested 43 suspects, including four women.
The cases were grouped as follows: four trafficking cases involving 10 arrests, 11 transportation or storage cases involving 24 arrests, and three drug use cases involving nine arrests.
Total narcotics seized on the reported date included 68.49 grams of methamphetamine (Ice), 949.0 grams of ketamine, and 606.90 grams of MDMA.
The report stated that nine units participated in the operations, with case details specifically listed for seven police units. Reported provincial and municipal enforcement activity included Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Kandal, Pursat, and Takeo.
According to the unit-by-unit breakdown, Phnom Penh recorded two trafficking cases with four arrests and 30.92 grams of methamphetamine seized. Kampong Cham reported one storage case with seven arrests and 5.35 grams of methamphetamine seized. Kampong Chhnang reported one trafficking case and two storage cases, with five arrests in total and 19.60 grams of methamphetamine seized.
Kampong Thom reported one storage case and two drug use cases, with eight arrests in total and 0.05 grams of methamphetamine seized. Kandal reported one storage case with two arrests and 0.34 grams of methamphetamine seized. Pursat reported two storage cases with five arrests and 2.01 grams of methamphetamine seized. Takeo reported four storage cases with six arrests and 2.81 grams of methamphetamine seized.
