The National Police of Cambodia published nationwide anti-drug enforcement results for 31 December, reporting 16 cases and 30 arrests across the country.
According to the report, the cases comprised five trafficking cases involving 11 suspects, eight transportation or storage cases involving 13 suspects, and three drug use cases involving six suspects.
Total evidence seized on the day included 539.42 grams of methamphetamine (Ice).
The report stated that four police units participated in the operations:
- Mondulkiri provincial police: three trafficking cases with nine arrests, four storage cases with six arrests, and 478.22 grams of Ice seized.
- Kampong Chhnang provincial police: two storage cases with five arrests and 3.98 grams of Ice seized.
- Kampong Thom provincial police: one trafficking case with one arrest, two storage cases with two arrests, three drug use cases with six arrests, and 46.63 grams of Ice seized.
- Kratie provincial police: one trafficking case with one arrest and 10.59 grams of Ice seized.
The report also noted that no Military Police units were involved in the listed operations.
