The visit covered multiple local irrigation and hydrological systems: the Thnal Bat canal system in Sala Krao commune was reported to have sufficient water for increased crop production and use; the Phteah Sbeuv and Or Doun Ta systems in Stueng Trong commune showed differing conditions, with Phteah Sbeuv recovering to adequate levels and Or Doun Ta at approximately 30 percent of capacity.
The Undersecretary also inspected river-mouth dyke reinforcement and related works in Boratang Su village, Sangkat Borayakha, Pailin city. Provincial MOWRAM records presented during the inspection indicate the dyke and protection works were completed to 100 percent of the planned scope and are intended to protect a rubber road and 15 local households from stream-bank erosion and flood flow.
