On 10 March 2026, Choub Paris, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Environment, accompanied by Sum Thy, Director General of the General Department of Policy and Strategy, and other officials, met with Frederic Wiltmann, Southeast Asia Regional Head of the Green Climate Fund.
According to the ministry, the meeting reviewed and identified Cambodia’s priority projects for submission to the Green Climate Fund Secretariat and discussed strengthening cooperation to access climate finance.
Background
The meeting was conducted by the Ministry of Environment with participation from the ministry’s policy and strategy leadership and the Green Climate Fund’s regional representative for Southeast Asia.
