On 11 March 2026, Lieutenant General Dr. Top Neth, Director General of the General Department of Identification under the Ministry of Interior, led a delegation on a study visit to Singapore.
According to the announcement, the visit was scheduled for three days, from 11 to 13 March 2026. The delegation was accompanied by Amir Khan, Head of Governance Programme at UNDP Cambodia, and Yi Kosalvotana, Cambodia Coordinator for Vital Strategies.
The stated purpose of the visit was to learn from Singapore’s experience in identification administration and national digital identity implementation through the Singpass system.
The send-off for the delegation was attended by deputy directors general, department heads, deputy department heads, and other relevant officials.
