On 11 March 2026, Lieutenant General Ho Sam Ath, Director General of the General Department of Digital Technology and Media, chaired a meeting at the Ministry of Interior to review progress in the development of a hotline technology system.
According to the department, the meeting was attended by deputy directors general, department leaders, office leaders, and relevant technical officials. The Director General stated that the hotline technology system was important for improving the management of offences, supporting crime prevention, and helping maintain public order, security, and social safety in Cambodia.
During the meeting, guidance was provided on preparing operational standards for the implementation of the hotline technology system in order to improve results and timeliness. A departmental report also summarized progress on the hotline technology system and the construction of Building E, along with challenges and requests for further action.
The Director General expressed agreement with the reported progress and work results and commended the efforts of the leadership and technical officers involved in the project.
