General Department of Immigration Deports 1,420 Foreigners for Illegal Stay and Online Scams
The General Department of Immigration reported the deportation of 1,420 foreigners of 23 nationalities between 11 and 15 March 2026 for immigration and related offenses. Among them, 335 Chinese nationals linked to online scam activities were deported via special flights from Techo International Airport, alongside others involved in illegal border crossings, overstays without passports, use of fake visas, and unauthorized work.

General Department of Immigration Disseminates Prakas on Procedures for Foreign Immigrant Children
The General Department of Immigration, in coordination with Kratie provincial authorities, held a meeting to disseminate Prakas No. 12644 on procedures for registering newly born foreign immigrant children in annex tables and requesting recognition for foreign immigrant children aged 18 and above. The session gathered 150 participants from provincial, district and commune administrations, immigration and identification police units, and the Khmer-Vietnamese association structures in Kratie.

MoEYS Meets FH Cambodia on Support for Target-Area Basic Education
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport held a working meeting with representatives of FH Cambodia to discuss cooperation on improving education for children in target areas of Siem Reap and Oddar Meanchey.
