National Minimum Wage Council Approves Temporary USD 2.50 Monthly Travel Allowance
The National Minimum Wage Council, chaired by the Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, decided to provide a temporary travel allowance of USD 2.50 per month to workers in the garment, textile, footwear, and travel goods and bag sectors. The additional allowance, effective from 1 April 2026, is to be paid on top of existing travel and accommodation allowances during the period of the global fuel price crisis.

MOWRAM Inspects AIIB-Financed Climate-Resilient Irrigation Subprojects in Two Provinces
