The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction announced the distribution of immovable property ownership certificates and the invalidation of existing possession or holding certificates for land in 12 villages in Kien Svay district, Kandal province. The process will take place from 18–24 March 2026 at the Kien Svay district hall.
The General Department of Immigration organized a dissemination meeting on Prakas No. 12644 concerning forms and procedures for registering newly born foreign immigrants in the annex list and requesting recognition of foreign immigrant status for children aged 18 and above whose names appear in their parents’ annex list. The Royal Government of Cambodia has appointed H.E. In Sakan as Director General of the Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority, succeeding H.E. Long Naro, who has retired. The appointment, made in accordance with established legal procedures, was highlighted by the Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation as a measure to ensure good governance, institutional continuity, and effective management of the public enterprise.
The Ministry of Interior convened a meeting on 16 March 2026 to discuss requirements for an information technology framework for various subordinate units. The session was attended by senior officials from the General Department of Immigration, the National Police, and provincial and municipal police commissariats, under the chairmanship of the Director General of the General Department of Human Resources.
From 10–12 March 2026, a Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health led supervisory visits to review pharmaceutical management at Kampong Thom provincial hospital (CPA3) and district referral hospitals (CPA2). The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction reported the third day of receiving applications to transfer ownership for customers of Leng Navatra Borey, Project 6A and Chraem Muoy Roy. Over the first two days, a total of 469 land plots were submitted for ownership transfer at the ministry.
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport participated in a technical committee meeting on the action plan related to the regional SEA-PLM learning assessment. The two-day meeting in Phnom Penh reviewed how to use SEA-PLM 2024 evidence for policy and planning, institutional capacity building, and the development of a SEA-PLM 2026–2031 strategic framework.
On 14 March 2026, the General Department of Immigration deported 335 Chinese nationals, including four women, through a special flight from Techo International Airport. The group was expelled for involvement in online scam operations, illegal stay, and unauthorized work, as part of Cambodia’s legal measures against technology-based crime.
