National Employment Agency Announces Regional Job Visit Forums in Four Provinces

The National Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training is organizing job visit forums titled "Job Opportunities and Preparation for Entering the Labor Market" in four target provinces. The events will offer around 15,000 job and internship opportunities, skills training information, and direct meetings between employers and job seekers, in cooperation with the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia and Swisscontact’s Skills Development Program.

Czech Republic Commits to Expand Cooperation on Technical and Vocational Training

The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training met with representatives of the Czech Republic to review five years of cooperation from 2018 to 2023 and to set priority directions for the next five years starting in 2024. Republic of Korea to Increase 2023 Quota for Cambodian Workers Above 10,000

The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training reported that the Republic of Korea has pledged to raise the 2023 quota for Cambodian workers to more than 10,000. The commitment was made during a meeting between Minister Ith Samheng and UH Soobong, Head of the Human Resources Development Unit of the Republic of Korea, which also discussed faster worker selection and reintegration of returnees.
