The National Police of Cambodia published nationwide enforcement results for drug-related offences recorded on 23 January 2026. According to the report, authorities handled 22 cases across the country and detained 56 suspects, including six women.
The cases were reported under three main offence categories: five trafficking cases involving 11 arrests, 11 transportation and storage cases involving 26 arrests, and six drug use cases involving 19 arrests. Seized evidence for the day included 140.65 grams of methamphetamine, 100.05 grams of ketamine, and 35.07 grams of MDMA.
The report stated that nine units participated in the operations, including eight police units and two military police units. Provincial and municipal results were listed for Phnom Penh, Battambang, Kampot, Kandal, Prey Veng, Pursat, Siem Reap, Takeo, and Kampong Cham.
Among the reported local results, Phnom Penh recorded four cases involving trafficking and storage, with 10 arrests and seizures including methamphetamine, ketamine, and MDMA. Battambang recorded storage, drug use, and warrant enforcement cases, while other provinces reported a mix of storage, trafficking, drug use, and warrant-related arrests.
