The commission emphasized the importance of research work and technical documentation services as core support functions for National Assembly activities, including plenary sessions, Standing Committee meetings, specialized commission meetings, and joint sessions involving the National Assembly and Senate. It stated that these functions require the preparation of supporting documents and in-depth analysis of national and international issues for use by parliamentary leadership and lawmakers.
The commission president also raised preparations for a forthcoming working discussion with the Ministry of Information. The statement presented this planned cooperation as an important step in the modernization of the information sector linked to the commission’s work.
