Background
On 12 March 2026, His Excellency Kan Pharidh, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, chaired an inter-ministerial meeting on preparations for the 13th EU-Cambodia Joint Committee Meeting and related meetings, scheduled for the end of March 2026 in Phnom Penh.
The meeting was attended by representatives from 20 relevant ministries and institutions.
Key Discussions
Participants reviewed the progress of preparations for the upcoming meetings and discussed key priorities and substantive issues to be raised during the Joint Committee Meeting and related sessions.
The discussions highlighted Cambodia’s priorities in further enhancing cooperation and strengthening the partnership between Cambodia and the European Union.
