MPWT Reports 89.88% Completion of NR7 Expansion in Kampong Cham
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport reported that the project to expand and upgrade National Road 7 to four lanes between Skun and Kampong Cham city has reached 89.88% completion as of early March 2026. The 45.504-kilometre section is progressing faster than planned and is expected to be completed during 2026, with MPWT urging road users to exercise caution while works continue.

Ministry of Health Reviews 2025 Implementation of International Health Regulations
The Ministry of Health convened a national workshop in Phnom Penh to review 2025 progress on Cambodia’s implementation of the International Health Regulations (IHR) using the WHO State Party Self-Assessment Annual Reporting (SPAR) tool. Participants assessed national core capacities for detecting, notifying, and responding to public health risks and emergencies, identified gaps and challenges, and prepared the 2025 SPAR submission and recommendations for the 2026 reporting cycle.
