The General Department of Immigration reported that 939 foreign nationals of 22 nationalities were deported from Cambodia between 20 and 23 March 2026 for immigration and related violations, including illegal border crossing, forged documents, lack of passports, fake visas, online scam involvement, and illegal work. The operation was carried out through Techo International Airport border police procedures under the direction of the Ministry of Interior leadership.
The Ministry of Civil Service reported the implementation of a civil servant recruitment system based on merit, transparency, fairness, inclusiveness, and efficiency under clear examination procedures.
