On 11 March 2026, the National Assembly of Cambodia reported that Kep Chuktema, Chair of the National Assembly’s Fourth Commission, together with the People for Care and Learning (PCL) organization, continued a humanitarian mission to provide emergency assistance to displaced residents in Kralanh district, Siem Reap province.
According to the post, the assistance was provided to 414 families, equivalent to 1,395 people, who were staying temporarily at Wat Thommorongsey safety site in Kralanh district. The residents were described as having fled after their homes were threatened or damaged amid insecurity along the border and what the post characterized as violations of territorial integrity by the Thai side.
The mission was said to have been undertaken with authorization from the President of the National Assembly. The reported assistance included food, essential consumer goods, and financial support distributed to affected families. The post also stated that support was extended to border protection forces, medical teams, and local authorities involved in protecting and assisting residents.
