Ministerial leadership emphasised capacity building and coordination: the Ministry will continue to support and coordinate with provincial tourism departments, industry associations and private operators to apply the classification criteria and to promote participation in regional and international quality assessments. Officials and industry participants were encouraged to develop institutional capability, workforce skills and professional practices as part of the overall quality-improvement strategy.
