On 10 March 2026, Minister of Tourism Huot Hak received Emmanuel MENANTEAU, Member of the Executive Committee of VINCI Airports, regional executive responsible for the Americas, Northern and Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia, and Chairman of the Board of Société Concessionnaire de l’Aéroport (SCA), together with colleagues, for a courtesy call and working discussion at the Ministry of Tourism.
Background
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the VINCI Group delegation introduced the company’s new leadership composition and provided updates on recent airport activities in Preah Sihanouk province and progress relating to Techo International Airport. The meeting also included discussion on the outlook for Cambodia’s tourism sector and potential areas of cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB), and the company.
Key Points of Cooperation
The parties discussed preparation of action plans to promote Cambodia’s tourism potential internationally and to attract additional foreign tourists to the country. The minister acknowledged the company’s role in aviation sector development and its support for the growth of Cambodia’s tourism sector.
The minister also emphasized the importance of stronger cooperation between the aviation and tourism sectors to enhance international connectivity and support more sustainable and competitive tourism development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue cooperation on tourism promotion planning and on strengthening air links to attract more international visitors to Cambodia.
