MPWT Inaugurates Battambang Municipal Landfill Under ADB-Financed Project
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport presided over the handover and official inauguration of a 20.80-hectare landfill site serving Battambang municipality and nearby districts. The facility, financed under the Tonle Sap environmental management project with an ADB loan, includes engineered landfill cells and associated infrastructure designed to provide sanitation services to an estimated 126,000 people over a ten-year period.
