General Department of Immigration reports deportation of 939 undocumented foreign nationals, including online scam-linked cases
The General Department of Immigration stated that from 20–23 March 2026 it deported 939 foreign nationals (113 female) of 22 nationalities; it reported 331 Chinese nationals (16 female) were linked to online scam cases, and others were associated with illegal border crossing, forged documents, lack of passports, use of forged visas/QR codes, illegal work, and online scams, with removals conducted via Techo International Airport.
