Immigration deports 335 Chinese nationals linked to online scams and illegal stay/work
On 14 March 2026, the General Department of Immigration reported the deportation of 335 Chinese nationals (including 4 women) from Cambodia in connection with online scam cases and violations involving illegal stay and illegal work. Nationwide drug enforcement results reported for 15 March 2026
The General Commissariat of National Police published nationwide drug enforcement results for 15 March 2026: 11 cases and 42 suspects detained. Ministry of Commerce opens World Consumer Rights Day seminar and signs MoU with EuroCham
On 15 March 2026 in Phnom Penh, the Ministry of Commerce reported that Minister Cham Nimul—also serving as Chair of the National Consumer Protection Committee and Chair of the Cambodia Competition Commission—presided over the opening of a seminar on “Consumer Rights Protection: Inclusive Business Practices,” marking World Consumer Rights Day 2026 under the theme “Safe Products, Confident Consumers.” The event included the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the General Department of Consumer Protection, Competition and Fraud Repression (CCF) and the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham) to strengthen cooperation, including through information exchange and legal consultation, participation in events, and technical assistance in consumer protection and competition matters. Ministry facilitates property ownership transfer applications for Borey Leng Navatra customers

MPWT announces mobile vehicle technical inspection services in four provinces (16–20 March 2026)
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced that mobile vehicle technical inspection services will operate in Pailin, Koh Kong, Stung Treng, and Prey Veng from 16 to 20 March 2026.
